Hi I'm Aubree

I'm a long distance runner. I'm a missionary. I love sunshine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a university student currently studying to be a physical therapist. I hope to be able to work someday in a hospital with patients coming out of surgery. I love to be outdoors and I'm the happiest when I am outside in the sun. I really love long distance running. There is nothing better than being on a long sweaty run with your legs burning. I find that I am able to see my life clearer and to figure out problems better when my legs are moving, most of my major life decisions have been made in the middle of a run. I love to hike and to play ultimate frisbee. I also really really like food. Gummy bears and fruit snacks are my absolute favorite. I have been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint in Nevada. I am beyond excited to be able to share this gospel with others and allow them the happiness and peace I feel daily!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. I'm a Mormon because I have found that nothing else in my life brings me as much peace and happiness as the gospel of Jesus Christ. I find peace in knowing where I came from, my purpose here on Earth and what will happen after I die. I find peace in hard times because I know trials shape who we become and allow us to come closer to God. I find happiness because I know that my Savior died so that I, and we all, can become clean and live with Him again. His incredible love and concern for all of us allows me happiness everyday of my life. I'm a Mormon because it brings purpose to my life. I know what I should be doing on this Earth. Service, accepting God's will, enduring to the end, and working to become a better person brings me closer to God. I'm a Mormon because of what it means for my family. My family means the world to me, I could never live without them. This gospel gives me the knowledge that I can be with them forever. Life does not end after this Earth and neither do families. That is amazing. I'm a Mormon because I have faith in a modern living prophet who knows how to guide and lead the church according to God's direction and will. I am a Mormon because it has given me the knowledge I will always be loved by my Father in Heaven . This gives me an incredible sense of self worth. I know that He wants me to succeed and to be happy. With Him I can do anything.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by allowing the gospel to shape what goes on in my everyday life. Scripture study and prayer are daily events that allow me to refocus my life and priorities. I live my faith by striving to set a good example. I by no means am anywhere close to being a perfect person, but I am trying, and I hope that by striving to be a follower of Christ I can inspire others to do the same. I believe that people notice more than we think that they do. Being an example is like being a light, people will notice. I live my faith by attending my church meetings. Its at these meetings that I am able to be inspired and lifted up by others examples and testimonies. I cannot make it through this life alone, and my associations with others of my faith allows me to have a support system and to learn from others' perspectives. I live my faith by preparing to serve a mission. I love this gospel and have a testimony of its truthfulness and of the Savior Jesus Christ. I hope to be able to teach and convey the gospel message in such a way that others will understand its great importance and the blessings it will bring.
