Hi I'm Abbi

I'm attending BYU with hopes of one day being a nurse. I love the gospel with all my heart. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent most of my childhood in Michigan and my teen years in Texas. I am the second oldest out of four children. I am currently taking a break from college to serve a full time mission. I'm a very adventurous person and love to try new things. I love sports, being outdoors, and traveling. My dream is to aid in Medical care in third world countries.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this gospel is true. Experiences in my life have led me to discovering this knowledge. Born into an already converted family, I was lucky enough to rely on the testimonies of my parents until I was able to learn for myself the truthfulness of the gospel. My testimony especially blossomed when I left the comfort and support of my family to attend college. There, I was tested and faced trials I ever had to face at home. At times I felt like my testimony hung by a thread but the Lord placed people in my life who were my own personal angels. They were God's hands in pulling me to safety by teaching me and comforting me. Gaining my own testimony hasn't been easy. There is much I have had to sacrifice but it's worth it. I feel true peace in knowing I can be with the people I love forever. I feel hope knowing that I can overcome my weaknesses, sins, doubts, and fears. And I feel joy in knowing my Heavenly Father loves me and that I am a daughter of a King.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in everything I do. I try to follow the example of my Savior and treat Heavenly Father's children with love. I try to pray and read my scriptures daily to establish a relationship with my Father. I attend church meetings every week on Sunday and participate in any activities throughout the week. I have served as a leader in youth presidencies, on service committees, and as a teacher. While attending BYU I had the opportunity of being a director of a service program to the Provo Utah Community. Nothing brings me closer to my Father in Heaven than serving His children and feeling the love He has for each of them.
