Hi I'm Brittney Tanner

I lived in Farmington, Utah since I was born. I am a Mormon. I know It! I live it! I love it!

About Me

I am 22 years old. I live in Farmington, Utah. I work part-time at a grocery store. I'm single and have been attending Weber State University working on my generals. I hope to go into Cultural Anthropology because I find other cultures, traditions, and languages intriguing and I hope to speak several languages. I'm leaving for a mission in a few days to the Tulsa, Oklahoma mission and I will return in 18 months!

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a member of this church because I know it to be true. I don't have to know it to believe its true because it's not what I know but what I feel. When I come to church, pray, and read the scriptures and the words of the prophets. I feel true peace and happiness that comes with following God's commandments and being a faithful witness that my Heavenly Father needs. I know this church is true and I will not shirk my beliefs or standards no matter how many temptations or discouragements come my way. I know with the Lord on my side, I am never alone. I love my Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ who died for me that I might be able to return to the kingdom of God and to live with my family for eternity. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I love going to the YSA (young single adults) ward and I love to participate in any way I possibly can whether it's service to friends, family, and strangers, YSA activities, FHE, and going to the Temple as often possible. I have been called before in Young Women's and as a counselor for a YSA ward until the Presidency announced combining of all YSA stakes in certain areas so the callings were dropped, but It was a wonderful opportunity to serve and to help other young adults in the church.
