Hi I'm Emily

I'm a Freshman in high school. I'm a singer and a guitar player. I love my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 3 great sisters and 2 awesome parents. I love singing, dancing, playing the guitar, taking pictures, playing volleyball, cooking (eating), reading, learning, and more. I can seem shy to others, but I really can be crazy. Traveling, and exploring new places is always something I look forward too. I love laughing, and I especially love making others laugh. I have so many big dreams and I look forward to the many things I have ahead of me in life. My friends and my family are a huge part of my life. I am so thankful for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know, with all my heart, that it is the true church. I know that it is only through this church that we can have the fullness of the gospel. I have gone to other churches before, and they have not even come close to the feelings I feel at this church. I know that Heavenly Father has a love for each one of us and that He has a plan for us. If you pray to Heavenly Father, He will answer your prayers. This church is so loving and accepting. I just love everything about it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing all I can to devote myself to the gospel. Not just by going to church, but living what we believe. I try my best to live the standards in the churches manual, For The Strength of Youth. Something that has always helped me is the phrase: "Imagine Heavenly Father is standing right next to you." It really makes me think about how I should really act. In high school, I come across many challenges and there is often so much evil around me. I live my faith by choosing the right. Surrounding myself with uplifting friends is another main thing. Jesus Christ's example always encourages me to be the best I can be.
