Hi I'm Brooke! :)

I love all kinds of sports and I love sunshine. I'm a twin and I'm serving a mission in Knoxville, Tennessee. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in beautiful Orem, UT, and it will always hold a special place in my heart! I am one of the youngest kids in a family of 8. I love to play basketball, soccer, and baseball. My favorite season is summer, and I would love to travel the world someday. I don't like the cold. I also love music. My best friend is my twin sister. We caused ALL kinds of mischief when we were younger, but now, we're both on missions. I'm serving in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission, and my sister is in the Georgia Atlanta Mission. We're practically neighbors! I love to eat all kinds of food! I love to make people laugh too! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but I had to find out for myself if it was true or not. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it, and I can't deny how I felt. I know it's true. I am a mormon because I love the Lord and would do anything for him. I feel His love all around me when I do what it right and follow the example of the Savior, Jesus Christ. He has a plan for me and my family, and I love to do what is right. I know that He died for me, so I want to give everything I can in return.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving an 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Great Tennessee Knoxville Mission and loving every minute of it. I get to see not only the change the gospel brings into other people's lives, but also the change in my own life as well. I want to help people come closer to out Savior and feel His love.

Are Mormons Christians?

Brooke! :)
Absolutely! Christ is the very center of everything we believe. We strive each day to follow His example and we try to develop His attributes. The word "Christian" means to be a follower of Christ. We want to know Him and love Him as our Savior. Without Him, we would have no purpose. He loves us and wants all of us to follow Him. We can do this through living His gospel. He suffered for our sins, pains, afflictions, temptations, illnesses, and literally everything we go through. He knows how to heal us. He wants to. The Bible and the Book of Mormon testify of His ministry and divinity. Show more Show less
