Hi I'm Mark

I am happily married to a wonderful wife, we have six children and three grandchildren, and I am happy to be a Mormon.

About Me

My main hobbies and interests center around my family. My wonderful wife and I have been blessed with six amazing children. I enjoy learning, both formal as well as informal in nature. I like to sing and play the piano and saxaphone. I enjoy volunteering in my community so I can be of service to others. I am enamored by all things Brazilian because I have served two Church missions there during my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church my entire life, however, like any member of the Church, I have had to work to increase my testimony throughout my life. I have been blessed to feel the quiet whisperings of the Spirit confirming to me that the gospel has been restored to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith, that the Book of Mormon was translated through divine inspiration given to Joseph Smith, that we are led by a Prophet today, Thomas S. Monson, and that Jesus truly lives and stands at the head of His Church. I am grateful beyond words for the sacrifice of our Savior and for his great love for me and the rest of the world.

How I live my faith

I love doing missionary work for my Church. I have served two missions and most of my children have served as missionaries as well. I currently work with young single adults in my church and find that age group to be highly motivating and enjoyable. I am a hometeacher and have enjoyed doing that for many years. I am grateful to serve in the temple and find great joy and personal satisfaction in learning about my ancestors. I currently serve as the president of an extended family organization.
