Hi I'm Tyson

I was born in Boise, Idaho and have lived all over the United States.

About Me

I really love music and I play trumpet and piano. I am currently preparing to go on a mission to Brazil, and will then attend BYU in Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an active LDS family who has had great influence on me. Because of them I have been taught the gospel from a very young age. I have studied on my own and prayed to know that this gospel is from God, and I know that it contains a fullness that can be found no where else.

How I live my faith

I am an active participant in the Church youth programs and Boy Scouts. I think these programs are great; I have never experienced a stronger sense of brotherhood and friendship than I have with the people who I know through these programs.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Tyson
I can see how this may appear to be true. Mormons are well connected, we see each other often, and one of the main purposes of the Church as an organization is to assist each other in physical as well as spiritual needs. However, I know that I have personally assisted those not of my faith through the Church. Whether it was distributing supplies to flood victims or helping on a more personal level, I have had the opportunity to do much service for those not of my faith. It has been my experience that anyone who needs assistance can receive it simply by asking. Show more Show less
