Hi I'm Jason Reeder

I'm an old man who loves to snowboard & skate. I'm an adventure seeker. I'm a husband, father & friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life. My family and the gospel bring me the most happiness. Snowboarding, skateboarding and soccer have always been an important part of my life. I enjoy doing hard things that challenge and stretch my abilities. My family, church calling and career occupy most of my time--all of which are very important to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it brings complete joy, happiness and meaning to my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ provides answers to all of life's questions. I know that this is the Lords kingdom here upon the earth preparatory to his second coming. I know that Joseph Smith saw the Father and the Son as he prayed to know what Heavenly Father would have him do. I know that Joseph Smith translated sacred records written for our day by ancient prophets now known as The Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon testifies of Christ and it is true scripture. I know this because I have prayed and received my own witness through the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I know that we can come nearer to God by reading The Book of Mormon than by any other book. I know that we are led by a living prophet who possesses and is authorized to exercise all priesthood keys. I know that Jesus is the Christ the literal Son of God. I know that everyone who lives or has ever lived on this earth are sons and daughters of God and he loves us! Families can be forever and the ordinances necessary for salvation are here upon the earth. I can't think of a greater blessing than to be a member of the Lord's church.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life so that my actions reflect my faith and what I know to be true. I strive to be a "doer" of the word. I enjoy serving in the church and helping others develop and strengthen their testimonies of Jesus Christ. I work closely with our Bishop in serving the members in our ward and especially the youth. My church service keeps me very busy, but I have a very supportive wife and family that support me in my efforts. I have come to better understand the past few years how much our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love each one us. As I have served the church and my family faithfully the Lord has poured out blessings upon me and my family. I simply try my best to be obedient and to be a worthy husband and father.
