Hi I'm Austin Scott Wade

I grew up in California. I played soccer for 14 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Austin. I just finished a semester of college and am now serving as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I've played sports all my life and was even talking to a bunch of schools to play soccer for them in college. I'm an Eagle Scout and love to play any type of sport, hunt, fish, shoot, or pretty much anything outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

Some people think that because you grow up Mormon its automatically something you believe; and yes, it is easier to believe it. However, I'm still a Mormon, not just because I believe it, but because I know that its true for myself and not just from what other people have said. My life wasn't a hard one but it wasn't anything close to easy, and still is it. But through those hard experiences I have come to know, not only a lot about the church, but a lot about myself as well. I had many experiences which impacted me deeply. Because of those experiences and all my experiences growing up I know that this church is true. I know that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world and that he died for my sins and he loves me personally. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he translated the Book of Mormon and that the Book of Mormon truly is the word of God. I also know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet today and speaks for God in these latter days.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is primarily through my example. I am serving as a missionary for the church at the moment and know that as we live what we teach that our lives truly are blessed.
