Hi I'm Karrol

I grew up in on a farm in rural Utah. My husband and I are the parents of seven grown sons and two grown daughters.

About Me

I grew up in a wonderful family on a farm in rural Utah, riding horses, helping with farm work, and learning homemaking skills. I sewed all of my own clothes and learned to play the piano. I graduated from college with a major in Music Education. My husband taught school then went into administration. I was able to stay at home, raising our children and teaching some piano lessons. Our children are all educated and married now, raising wonderful families of their own.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was growing up my parents taught me the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I learned of the faith of my ancestors who joined the Church in the early days. My Dad was a humble man who studied scriptures several times a day in his spare time, then pondered as he spent long days on tractors and doing other farm work. He always taught us stories from the scriptures and lessons learned from his experiences. My mother taught us by her example. Just not working or shopping on the Sabbath strengthened my faith. I know that this Church in which I was raised is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know God watches over us, blesses us as we keep his commandments, and wants us to return to be with Him. We have seen miracles in our lives and in the lives of our children and their families. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love and care for us. I feel I have grown closer to Jesus Christ and have felt this love by spending many years studying and listening to the Book of Mormon and other scriptures. I love the Lord and his prophets. I love being a Mormon. All the answers are found here.

How I live my faith

I always wanted to be a "Mother in Israel" and devoted much of my time teaching and training our children. We prayed as a family night and morning while I was growing up. We continued with family prayer night and morning with our children as well. We always attend our church meetings. I have served in music, gospel teaching, and family history callings. I love researching our ancestors and learning about their lives. My husband and I will soon serve a mission as a couple in California. I love to study scriptures and learn more about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. My faith has grown a great deal over the years. Our family has been very blessed.
