Hi I'm Drew

I'm from the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy playing music, being in the outdoors, and I love baseball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying history and taking the pre-dental courses. I like doing just about anything in the outdoors: biking, backpacking, rock climbing, rafting, you name it. I played drums in a band with friends throughout high school and I'm always good for a game of catch or ping pong. I enjoy spending time with my family and with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I sincerely believe that this is the path to happiness and the path back to God. In the Mormon Church we believe in conversion through the Holy Spirit--that if we pray to God with a sincere heart and real intent, He will confirm to us what is true through the feelings and emotions that come by feeling the Holy Ghost. I have read The Book of Mormon and asked God if it is His word, and I have asked Him if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His church, and through the Spirit I know beyond a doubt that this is His church and that The Book of Mormon, along with the Bible, contain the gospel that He would have me follow. I hope that others will find out for themselves if this church is true by reading The Book of Mormon and asking God if it is His word.

How I live my faith

I try to have a good relationship with everyone I meet. I try to be friendly, to smile, and to care about others and listen to their struggles. I pray every day and strive to keep my life focused on the Lord. I study The Book of Mormon daily, and read The Bible often. I share my faith with others by living it and not shying away from opportunities to explain why I live the way I do. In the Church I've had the opportunity to serve as a leader to other men my age. I taught lessons at church on Sundays and acted as a counselor to them, supporting them in their trials. I've chosen to serve a two year proselytizing mission for my Church. I will be moving to Indiana for the entirety of the next two years to focus solely on teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am thrilled to be able to serve the Lord for this time, to study His gospel, and to share with others the joy I have found in living His teachings.
