Hi I'm Austin

I grew up in Utah. My dream has always been to become a professional chef. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to cook, go fishing, and play sports. I am a college student at Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel, and especially the Book of Mormon, bring me more lasting happiness than anything else in this world. I have prayed and have come to know for myself that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ. I have come closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ by learning and living this religion. Jesus Christ is our great mediator with God, and the only way to find true happiness and joy. He will never reject us and our pleas for help if we come to him with a humble, sincere heart. Through the Atonement, Jesus took upon Him the pains and the sins of the world. Because of Him, we always have someone who knows what we are going through. He knows what a broken spleen feels like. He knows how bad rejection hurts. He was despised and rejected by his own friends. He knows how it feels to be alone, because He was left alone for his final hour. And we are promised that we will never be alone because of the atonement. It is always easier to go to a friend who had been through what we have been through. Go to him, he understands us completely, and he will carry you. I know that he cares about each of us personally, and if he hadn’t, He wouldn’t have gone through what He did. He loved us so much that He would die for us. And knowing all this has helped me to live a happier life filled with joy and peace, knowing what is most important in life, because of the truths that are taught in the church.

How I live my faith

Currently, I'm living my faith by serving as a missionary for the LDS church, in California. I strive to always be an example and try to share with others what makes me happy, and what means the world to me-the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
