Hi I'm Alex Milstead

I grew up in Texas. I don't have an accent. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Alex. I was born and raised in Texas but then moved to Massachusetts in the middle of my freshman year of high school. I am currently studying music education in college. I love teaching music, listening to music, and composing music. Music has always been a huge part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the true church of God. I was born into this church, and being raised as a member is without a doubt the biggest blessing of my life. Seeing the blessings of this Gospel in certain people's lives is the most amazing thing to watch. I love this church, I love my Heavenly Father, and I am thankful for all the negativity that the early prophets of the church endured through, because without that, there would be no true church of God on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

I live in an area where there are only 7 other members of our church that attend our church meetings each week. Mormons are obviously very uncommon here, so many people don't know anything about them. I live my faith by getting involved in the community, volunteering, and living a life which I am proud of.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Alex Milstead
Families are ordained by God. Families are a place of comfort and safety. They are where we learn everything in our life. Families teach us everything - to love, to respect, and to not take life so seriously sometimes. Show more Show less

What is the priesthood?

Alex Milstead
The Priesthood is the power of God given to man on Earth today. It comes straight from Heavenly Father in a direct line to anyone holding the priesthood. Show more Show less
