Hi I'm Emarie

I'm currently attending Brigham Young University. I leave for an LDS mission to Lyon, France in May 2013. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm a 19-year-old junior at BYU majoring in Physiology and Developmental Biology. I have 6 siblings and about 18 nieces and nephews. I LOVE to dance, particularly ballet and Ballroom dance. I'm on one of the BYU ballroom dance teams and enjoy competing. I also play the violin and piano. I recently got called to serve as an LDS missionary in the France, Lyon mission. I will teach the gospel of Jesus Christ and serve the French for 1.5 years and then go back to finish my degree at BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is God's true church on the earth today. I have felt a large difference in my life when I am trying to live up to Christ's standards, read the scriptures regularly, and pray to God regularly. I am much happier and at peace with myself. I know that families can be together forever, and I am so excited to live with God after this life. I know that God loves us and let us come to the earth to become better people and to learn.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a better person and become more like Christ every day. I try to love and serve the people around me, and I try to be friendly and happy. I try to learn more about Christ and his teachings by reading the scriptures. I pray and talk to God daily. Though I am far from perfect, I am trying to become a little better each day.
