Hi I'm Wendy

I grew up in Utah. I'm an artist. I have a wonderful family.

About Me

I have three grown children that live in different parts of the world so now I get to visit them and see other places. I have had my own art business for over 35 years doing folk art sculptures of families. I love to quilt, sew, garden and cook, especially something sweet. I enjoy singing and have sung with three of my sisters since I was six years old. I have continued to sing in groups both small and large and I always enjoy singing in my church choir. Talking to people on the street is also something that I enjoy. I participate in giving guides of a beautiful garden and so I get to speak with many people and enjoy God's beautiful creations.

Why I am a Mormon

It makes sense to me. It has the direction for life that I seek. It gives me hope for tomorrow and the day after that. It helps me to see the beauty and wonder of this world and I feel so loved by a Father in Heaven who I know knows me and cares about what is truly important to me. I love my knowledge that I can be with my family in this life and throughout all time, never ending. I know God loves me because he has sent chosen men to lead and guide us here on earth in his ways. I know there are living Prophets today and that God speaks to us through them.

How I live my faith

I'm in a leadership position for the organization of women in my church. I take care of activities of enrichment for my sisters in the gospel so that they have the tools to strengthen their lives and the lives of the people they come in contact with. We enjoy coming together and visiting and often working on projects to help someone else. I learn so much from associating with these women. I can feel my spirit gain strength to do bigger, better and more meaningful things in life. I want to please my Father in Heaven and do his work here on this earth in any small way I can.
