Hi I'm Angela

I love playing water polo and soccer. I love the great outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student as well as a swim coach. I love coaching kids! My hope is to one day be an elementary teacher. I am currently learning Spanish and loving it! I come from a large family and I love every single one of my siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know in my heart that it is true and given to the world for everyone's benefit if they choose to receive it. I have felt the Lord's blessings in my life. Because I am a Mormon I have seen how happy families can be. The gospel of Jesus Christ as given through the Church of Jesus Christ is indeed the true gospel. I have felt it's influence in my everyday life. When I was born my mother and I should have both died. My mother was at home one night and 9 months pregnant. She began to hemorrhage when my older brother who was 19 years old at the time gave my mother a blessing which literally stopped the bleeding immediately. By the time my pregnant mother made it to the hospital she should have been dead, but because of the blessing my brother gave her, her life was spared along with mine. I know this was more than a coincidence. I know that our Savior Jesus Christ and our loving Heavenly Father were looking over our lives that night. Through the true gospel, we can see miracles in any aspect of our lives and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I loved being a part of youth groups while growing up. Now, I am preparing to serve as a missionary in Argentina. I love the opportunity I have been given to serve the people of Argentina even though I will have to leave my family, friends, and education for 18 months to do so.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Jesus Christ is the center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We believe that he is the literal son of God. Jesus Christ suffered for the sins of each individual who ever lived on this earth and will ever live through the Atonement. Through repentance of our sins we can become clean through the mercy and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This sacrifice was made for all whether they accept it or not. Our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ love everyone and have given us a plan so that we can return and live with them through the Gospel of Jesus Christ as restored by Joseph Smith.
