Hi I'm Jared Pierce

I am Mormon and I love my life.

About Me

I am currently a student studying Chemical Engineering at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah! I am an adventurer and love pretty much everything outdoors from going to the beach to snowboarding. I am a fanatic about having fun and loving life and believe that every moment should be treasured.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know for myself that this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is truly Gods kingdom on the earth. The Holy Ghost has revealed this truth to me and I firmly believe with all my heart that I must follow the direction that God has given me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to become like Christ. Jesus taught: "If you love me, keep my commandments". This simple statement serves as a constant reminder to me that I need to do all I can to live worthy in order to one day live in his presence. I live my faith by LIVING and STAYING TRUE to the simple principles and ordinances of the Gospel of Jesus Christ because I KNOW that, just as Christ has taught us, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can TRULY be happy in this life and in the eternities. For that reason, I follow his counsel and stay faithful and true to his commandments. Simply summed up, I am determined to live a righteous life as he has asked.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Jared Pierce
The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. The book describes the descendants of one of the twelve tribes of Israel coming to the America's. After landing in the Americas, many came to the knowledge of their Savior and many also fell away and started fighting against the believers. The book succeeds in bringing to light the many wars and contentions that took place once in the America's. The collection ranges from around 600BC to 400AD and is comprised of stories of Jesus Christ and his dealings with these people. Show more Show less
