Hi I'm Brandon

I was born and raised in California. I have three boys and a lovely girl. I love football and golf. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work in the electronics industry and have a wonderful family of three crazy boys and wonderful little girl. I love playing golf although I don't get to play it nearly enough. I served a mission in Taiwan so I can speak Mandarin Chinese and that allowed my family and I to live in Suzhou China for over four years. We just recently moved back to the US and are enjoying being back. One of the best things about being back is being able to watch my sport teams play and taking my kids to sporting events. It's also great to see my boys get into sports as much as I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this Church is true. I've had many little experiences throughout my life where I have felt the Spirit testify to me that the things that are taught in this church are true. I am so thankful for the plainess of the gospel and how clear a direction it gives to me and has given to me throughout my life. Going through school as a teenager I believe wasn't as complicated and as difficult for me as for others because the of the Church and it's teachings. I knew who I was, what I believed in and what I wanted to become. Also, because of the constant reassurances I had through the Holy Ghost my faith in these continued to grow and be strengthened. As I practiced what was taught to me from an early age I was able to witness the truthfulness of these things. This Church is one of action that requires a person to act and do something. I've been able to put to practice the things I believe to be true and the doctorine of Christ and nothing else has proved to be more effective at guiding me and helping me feel true joy.Through various assignments and service projects I've had through the years I've been able to feel my Heavenly Father's influence and guidance in my actions and decisions. It's this evidence through work and practice that allows me to say I know this Church is true and that it is guided by our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In my church I am forunate enough to be working with some of the teenage boys in our group. It's great to see the faith and dedication these young men have to the Church and to Jesus Christ. I really enjoy talking to them about the gospel every Sunday and attending different activities with them during the week.
