Hi I'm Eric

I live in Arkansas. I am married to a wonderful woman. I have four wonderful children. I work as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

About Me

My name is Eric. I am married with four children. I have a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. My hobbies are going on hikes with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is my past, present, and future. It is an intricate part of who I am. The gospel of Jesus Christ is not a belief that is seperate from myself that I adhere to. The gospel is me trying to learn and better myself everyday. It is my family and I enjoying eachother and knowing we can be together forever. It is my wife and I being sealed in the temple. The teachings of Christ influence my everyday decisions and help me understand what path to choose. Our heavenly father is a part of our family. We look to him as we make decisions. We rely on him for guidance. We look to him for comfort. We have faith that we will return once again to him, as a family.

How I live my faith

Every morning we have prayers together as a family. We read scriptures together. My children read from the church's magazine as part of their homework. The magazine named, The Friend, has stories about how other children have lived the gospel of Jesus Christ and made good choices. In the evening time we pray before we eat dinner together. Then we pray as a family before bed. On Sunday, we go to church as a family. We all have jobs at church that we do. When he come home, the children give a lesson on what they have learned and we have an activity together as a family. Sometimes we are able to visit people who are ill or widowed, as a family.
