Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in Wyoming. I love to hunt and fish and wrestle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a twenty year old full time missionary, serving in the Belgium/Netherlands mission. Before my mission, I worked full time as a boom truck operator/ driver and Class A truck driver. I was born and raised in Wyoming, and grew up with a great love and respect for the outdoors, and in doing so, I love to hunt and fish. In high school, I was a multi-sport athlete, competing in Cross Country for two years, Football, and Wrestling for all four years. I aspire to be either a petroleum or civil engineer when I return from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have an undeniable testimony that Jesus is the Christ, and that He leads this church, and that the power of His priesthood is found in this church. I believe with all my heart that the words of the Book of Mormon are true and accurately translated. That is something that I've searched out, pondered upon, and prayed fervently over, and have come to the conclusion that it is true. And on top of all of that, I have a great love and passion for service, and I admire this church for the service that it renders to all those who are in need.

How I live my faith

Currently I live my faith by spreading it as a full-time missionary. In doing so, I have the opportunity to talk to people each day over what I believe and why I believe it. Aside from missionary work, I live my faith by trying to keep Christ in the center of my life, and trying constantly to become more like Him.

In whom should we have faith?

We should undoubtedly have faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ; however, faith doesn't end with just knowing of Him and of His sacrifices for us. You must also have faith that His atoning sacrifices work for each and every individual on this earth. Many people think that their sins are too serious, or that Christ's atonement wasn't for sins like theirs or that He didn't atone for people like that. These are they that aren't truely converted. We must both have faith that Christ lived, but also that He died for each and everyone of us. It's one thing to believe in Christ, but it's a totally different thing to believe Christ, and believe Him when he says that through His atonement we can cleanse ourselves of our sins. We can't obtain eternal perfection without first relying upon Christ and His atonement until we can gain our own eternal perfection. Have faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.
