Hi I'm Nicole

I am serving in the Philippines Cebu Mission. I am a Latter-day Saint.

About Me

The thing I think that would define me is my family. I love them so much. We spend time together playing board games like Settlers of Catan and Dominon and lots of others. I am the youngest in my family. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister. My parents are divorced and my mom is remarried to her Eternal companion. They have adopted my cousin who is a few years younger than me. My dad served a mission in South Carolina. My family is really close even my dad and step-dad (they are pretty much best friends). We love to go camping an enjoy each others company. My siblings are not members of the church but they are amazing people. I am waiting for they day when they will be able to accept the gospel in their lives that they may have eternal happiness with their own personal families.

Why I am a Mormon

In 2012 I had the chance to go to Japan with a friend from my ward to attend their youth conference. At that time I wasn't really that interested in the church even though I was baptized and was active I just went because it was what I was 'supposed' to do. When I went to youth conference there even though I couldn't understand what they were saying I felt the spirit and Gods love for me and for everyone. I knew for my self that this is the only true and living gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth. When I got back I read the Book of Mormon all they way through for the first time and asked for my self if it was true and my answer was amazing. With out a doubt in my mind I know it is the word of God and the principles in it are true and the only way we are going to be able to return back with him and with our families. That is why I am a Latter-day Saint.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a missionary in the Philippines. I am so blessed to serve the lord and become who he wants me to be. I love this work. It helps me grow and become more like the savior. I study the scriptures to know the principles of the gospel that I may follow Christ and return to him. I pray and converse with my Father in Heaven to thank him for all my many blessings he gives me each day. I try to be an example for my family and others. I think of the God Head in all that I do and try to live the standards they have set for me that I may be able to live with them again and with my Eternal Family.
