Hi I'm Taylor
I grew up in a small town in southern Alberta, Canada. I love to play outdoors. I'm a mormon.
About Me
I am the oldest in my family, and am going to university. I love to snowboard, dirtbike, and anything else outdoors. I have recently served a mission in Washington DC, working in French. I have had many amazing experiences working with the French speaking Africans and Haitians. I love their culture, and love to spend time with my family.
Why I am a Mormon
I am mormon because of the blessings I've seen in my life. The Lord has blessed me immensely, and through Jesus Christ and his sacrifice I find strength to continue. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps me understand how to apply the Atonement in my life, and to realize my potential in God's eyes. I have come to know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored through a modern prophet by my own searching and praying. I began my search with the Book of Mormon. I was challenged to read it, and as I read I felt a light enter my life. As I finished reading the Book, I got down on my knees and offered a simple yet ernest prayer, yearning to gain a knowledge of it's truthfulness. As I prayed, I realized that God had already answered my prayer. He had answered it in the way I felt as I read. He had answered my prayers by the added guidance he gave me as I read the Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is truly the church that God has given us in our day to guide us back to him.
How I live my faith
I am currently working to stengthen my family, and to help them remain firm in the faith. I am trying to prepare my brothers to serve missions to bring people to Christ. I wake up every morning and study the gospel, and write down ways I can help others.
