Hi I'm Caroline

I am a deaf mother of 2 and run my own business making and selling soaps and bath products. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family, musical theatre, singing and crafting. I have done a lot of volunteer work with the homeless and used to be a youth worker with young people with special needs. I lost my hearing 7 years ago so I am learning to lip read and having lots of fun signing. In 2008 I started my own business. I knew that Jesus was my saviour at the age of 8. I was brought up as a member of the Church of England but became a Mormon at the age of 21. I am so happy because I know Heavenly Father has prepared a way for me to return to him. I am greatful that my Saviour, Jesus Christ, suffered for me, so my sins can be forgiven and I am glad that I have the Holy Spirit to guide me while I am here on earth.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 8, my mum took me with her when she visited a lady who was terminally ill. I knew, that evening, that there was a life after this life. I spent 13 years looking for the feeling I had had in my heart that night. I knew that the Holy Spirit was guiding me to find the truth. When I met the missionaries, many years later, I insisted that they teach me, only using the Bible as I believed the Bible to be true. They did this, and then showed me that the Book Of Mormon is another testiment of Christ. They confirmed that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit were three seperate beings. I spent a lot of time praying in the following months. I went to the church meetings and some of the activities held during the week. I found the members to be happy and loving. Whenever I was with them, the warm feeling got stronger. I knew that this was the Holy Spirit telling me that the Church was true and that this was what I was feeling all those years ago. My mum later told me that the lady we had visited was also a Mormon and that she had not been afraid of dying because she knew she would be returning to live with Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to become more Christ like everyday. I teach my children about our Heavenly Father and encourage the family to be member missionaries. We set aside one evening a week to spend together, and learn more about each other our beliefs and how Heavenly Father blesses us and has sent his son Jesus Christ, our Saviour, who died that we may return to live with him.. We like to Work hard, Play hard and Pray harder.
