Hi I'm Merilynne

I love to sing, and play the upright bass I'm a returned missionary and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I returned from a full time mission to San Diego California Spanish speaking in August of 2015. I love what I learned there and the friends I created! I absolutely love photography and capturing the beauty the Lord has blessed us with. I also play the upright bass and I love it. Something you can also find me doing often is singing randomly around the house. This gospel has really blessed me in my life, and I am so grateful to be a member of this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel! Everything about it is true. I don't have a miraculous conversion story. I've been in the church my whole life. To be quite honest I am converted more and more everyday to my savior, and will continue to be converted. It hasn't been an I know at one instant that the church is true. For me it's been a gradual growing testimony. I do remember, however, the instant I knew the Book of Mormon was true, and that led to a commitment to daily live my testimony. I was on my mission, and I finished the Book of Mormon a couple of days before the end of the year. I prayed to know 100% that it was a true book. I kind of knew it, but I wasn't super sure. I didn't receive an answer right away. It wasn't until a couple days later when I was studying about the Book of Mormon in Preach My Gospel where I felt an overcoming feeling of joy and peace, and I knew, without a doubt that this was a book from God, and that studying it can bless us so much! I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that this gospel is true, and that testimony grows day by day. I know that my my savior loves me and he wants me to know him and succeed in life. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet and really did restore the gospel to this earth. I want everyone to receive the gift of what I know.

How I live my faith

I served a mission in San Diego, currently I am living at home, studying the Gospel, and very soon will be serving in the nursery!!!
