Hi I'm Emi

I'm a missionary. I'm a human. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love Canada. I love art. I love music. I love museums. I love learning. I love USU. I love freedom. I love big cities. I love oceans. I love laughing. I love tennis. I love bookstores. I love travel. I love concerts. I love people. I love inside jokes. I love missionary work. I love America. I love the outdoors. I love BC. I love my family. I love Kaysville. I love anchors. I love my friends. I love my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, so being surrounded by the faith was somewhat of the norm for me. However, I realized in my teens that just because you're surrounded by it, doesn't mean you actually live it! It was at that point that I went on my own Joseph Smith journey and truly prayed to know that the Book of Mormon is true. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints simply because I know that there is no other way to achieve such a pure happiness than there is by living the gospel of Jesus Christ--having faith unto repentance, being baptized in Christ's name, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. Being a member of this church has blessed my life immensely, and I know that the blessings offered by obedience to our Savior can apply to anyone and everyone. The light of this gospel and the happiness it has given me is truly unmatched, and I want others to be able to feel the same comfort and happiness I do everyday. I know without a doubt that Christ has indeed lived upon this earth and will come to live again. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and was translated by Joseph Smith to give us specific direction and guidance for our lives in these days. I know that God knows everyone by name who has ever lived upon this earth, and He loves each of us more than we can ever comprehend. I am a Mormon because I know and love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I know that in and only through His Atoning Sacrifice, I can be perfected and live with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I'm currently a missionary in the Canada Vancouver mission. Being a missionary is THE best calling in the whole world. I've loved every second of it. I live and strengthen my faith by studying the Doctrine of Christ, by praying about it, by sharing it and by doing my best to live it!
