Hi I'm Mike Butterfield

I live in a small town in Arkansas surrounded by lots of family. I am currently serving a mission in England. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest in my family. I have 2 brothers and a little sister. My favorite hobby is working on cars. I have served in Colwyn Bay, Rawtenstall, and Blackburn which is part of the England Manchester Mission. One of my favorite activities has been to go knocking on doors with the missionaries in my hometown. I'm really glad I'm going to be able to serve as a full time missionary. When I return home, I want to become a mechanical engineer. Some of my other hobbies and interests are football, hiking, camping, drawing cars, and being outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was brought up a mormon. I am thankful that my parents raised me with the gospel principles because it has helped me in making decisions that have helped me become a better person. I continue to be a mormon because I have seen how close it has brought families together and I see how it can help our lives. I love my family and the gospel very much.

How I live my faith

All my life I have actively participated in church youth activies such as dances, conferences and service projects. It was fun being a part of such a great group. I have enjoyed bringing my friends to the activities with me. One of my best friends joined the church when we were seniors in high school. It was a great experience for me to see his life change and his faith grow.
