Hi I'm Carly McDermott

I was born in Utah, but moved to Oregon when I was 3 and am currently living in Idaho for school. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born May 2nd, 1993. I grew up in Oregon and have loved living there. I currently go to BYU-Idaho and am majoring in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. I am 20 years old and loving living in Rexburg, Idaho and going to school. I am currently the Relief Society in my school ward and I love being close to all the girls in my relief society.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I know this church is true. As mentioned before I have had many trials but one in particular trial is one that I will never forget. It was in between my freshman and sophomore year in high school when I lost my friend Mallory, she passed away right as our friendship was starting and I couldn't help but question God why he had taken her, but though this gospel I know that Mallory will get to see her family again.

How I live my faith

I've been a Latter-day Saint since birth, but like most people I have gone through trials that have made me question my faith, but I have always come back because I know this church is the true church. I go to church every Sunday no matter where I am, I believe in this Gospel and I that God loves me. I have had many callings I have been Beehive, Miamaid, and Laurel President, Ward Indexing Director, Sunbeam Teacher, and am currently serving as the Relief Society President in my School Ward.
