Hi I'm Nick

I am a student at Utah State University. I am an Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sportsman. You will find me in the wilds of Montana, and I will be fishing, camping, backpacking, or hunting. I love to archery hunt. Mainly I hunt elk, but I have also hunted deer, antelope, and wolves. There are also other sports which I enjoy. I like to play tennis, basketball, and I even golf a little. I enjoy water-sports, water-skiing, wake-boarding, tubing, I like it all. I love being outside where there is fresh air. I love to observe the beauty of the Earth. I am also a student. I am studying Mechanical Engineering. I enjoy figuring out how things work, usually this involves taking it apart and studying its components. I enjoy reading. My favorite book is Big Red by Jim Kjelgaard.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have faith that this is Christ's church. All of my grandparents are Mormons and my parents are Mormons. I was born into the Mormon church. Growing up I went to church because that is what my family did on Sundays. As I grew older I started to get my own faith that the doctrines and principles of the church are true. I was no longer content with just believing because my parents did, I began to desire to know for myself if the doctrines of the Mormon Church were true. I prayed to God, my Heavenly Father, and it was comfirmed to my heart by feelings of peace and warmth that Jesus is the Christ and that the Mormon Church is His church on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

I do what is right because it is right. I have found that the right thing is not alway the easiest or the most popular. I strive to be an example of Christ-like service. I offer my help whenever I see a need. I am going to serve a two year mission to share the gospel with the people of Texas. I am not perfect, but everyday I try a little harder to be a little better.
