Hi I'm Briana

I'm a self-proclaimed Ameruvian. I grew up in Fontana California. I am serving a mission in Neuquen Argentina. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a small city in Southern California called Fontana. For the past year I have been attending Brigham Young University-Idaho, studying Political Science. Some of my favorite things to do are play ping pong with the boys in my household, watch fireworks on the fourth of July, hike waterfalls, having girl talks with my sister, and eating out! I love my family, and I can honestly say they are the most important thing in the world to me. I love them. Plain and simple. For the next 18 months of my life, I have the privilege of serving a mission for the people of Neuquen Argentina!

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel. Plain and simple. I am so blessed to be a part of it, and I will forever be grateful for it's profound influence in my life. I wish I could explain the wonderful things it has done for me, but the list would be too long! It has helped me through the hardest times in my life. It has given me peace and solace, where everywhere else had given up hope. It has given me a purpose; a reason for living. I know that because of this gospel, I can communicate with my father in heaven and I can receive personal revelation. It has been such an amazing experience to watch how my life is different just because of the simple fact that I am a Mormon. Being a Mormon is so much more than a name. It's a blessing. A lifestyle, and I am so happy because of it. It has given me the opportunity to really know my savior. Because of this wonderful gospel, I have grown closer with my Father in Heaven and with his son. I know that because of his Atonement, I can be forgiven for my sins and mistakes. It is seriously just the most wonderful blessing to be a part of this. I love being Mormon.

How I live my faith

As a missionary of the Lord, I have been called to represent Jesus Christ in everything I do. It has been such a wonderful opportunity. My entire purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ, and help them to receive the Lord's restored gospel. Every day, my companion and I strive to find those who are seeking the truth. It has been a humbling experience because there have definitely been challenges. I know that the gospel is true, and all I really want is to share that with the people that I come in contact with.

What is being a Mormon like?

One word: Awesome. People think that being a Mormon prohibits "fun." That is not true in the slightest. In fact, some of my favorite memories are during activities that the church puts out for us. We have so much fun learning from each other and making friends. Plus, when we are studying the gospel, we gain great insight for ourselves. It is a really cool experience . Show more Show less
