Hi I'm Amberlie Fielding

I am a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am learning Armenian and will be leaving for Armenia soon!

About Me

I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love the gospel. I am so proud to be a missionary for the son of God--he who took on all of our trials and sins so that we all could be happy. I am being trained to right now to go to Armenia. It is a lot of work to learn Armenian, and learn how to be a missionary, but I love it. Sometimes I miss being at home, but I know that my family is safe and well. This also hasn't been my first time away from home. I went to school at BYU-Idaho, starting in Winter 2010. I also taught English to school children in Fall 2012. I know that the Lord has truly prepared me to go on this mission. From teaching me how to be self-reliant, to trying to rely on the Lord, and many other things. I count it as an amazing blessing that I am where I am today. I know that the Lord and his angels strengthen me so that I can become a better missionary. I have felt the Lord's love while being here, and I know that he loves all his children. Even though in under a month I will be on the other side of the globe--I know that the Lord will always be there with me. I know that the Lord knows you, and wants you to come to him. He loves you so much. I know that this is true. If you don't know this, then I invite you to pray to your Heavenly Father (the Lord) with a pure heart, and he will tell you in your heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for a majority of reasons. I had the blessing of being born into a Mormon family. They raised me in the gospel, and taught me how to choose the right. By growing up in that environment, I grew stronger in the gospel. I went through some very rocky stages, but eventually I gained a better knowledge of the Lord. I started to realize that he knows and loves me. When going through trials in my life, I would read from the Holy Scriptures, and pray. These things became the landlines in my life. I have loved the Lord and the Savior more as I have grown stronger in this church. When I taught English in Ukraine, I started to rely wholly on the Lord. As I went through the difficult tasks of teaching groups of Ukrainian-speaking children English, I started to make my prayers more meaningful, my scripture-reading more spiritual. It came to the point where I truly felt God's hand in my life. It was there that I realized that I wanted to be a missionary. I know that through ALL the times of our lives, we need the Lord. There is no denying it. We need him. Why am I a Mormon? I am a Mormon, because I know that God lives. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that the only way to return to them in Heaven is by living a righteous and good life. I want to return to them in Heaven so that I be happy and bring others to happiness. I love the Lord, and will do everything I can to fulfill his purposes.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be pure in mind and body at all times. I try to choose the right, make others feel loved, and spread God's word to everyone around me. I try to read the scriptures everyday and pray constantly. I am a missionary of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I know that the more I try to live righteously, the more the Holy spirit will come into my life. I love the Lord, who is my God. I love Jesus Christ, my Savior and Redeemer. I love the Holy Ghost who tells me how to live righteously, comforts me, gives me direction on how to help others. I know that we all need to devote our lives to the Lord. I know that the more we strive to do God's will, the happier we will be forever.
