Hi I'm Bailey Smith

I was born and raised in Utah. I love my family and the outdoors. I am serving my mission in Alabama and I AM A MORMON! Y'all

About Me

i like anything to do with cars, military stuff, and science. i'm planning to go to college to be an geological engineer or a cryptozoologist (bigfoot scientist). My interests as of now is shooting i would like to get into the 3- gun competitions someday. I enjoy action movies and a good creature feature. I was blessed to be born the oldest of four boys to awesome parents in utah.I love the outdoors, hanging with friends and playing video games with my brothers.I am grateful for the scriptures, the gospel of jesus christ and for the plan of happiness. one cool thing about me is that i am actually related to joseph smith through his younger brother samuel. but i do not think i am special because of that i work for my name not leach off of it.

Why I am a Mormon

the favorite thing i love about this church is the plan and purpose that Heavenly Father has for us. my mother passed away and i loved her a lot and missed her even more but through understanding God's plan for us i know that i will be able to not only see her again but always be with her as well. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because any questions about how to live or what God thinks of us is in it, I know that when i read it i get comfort and answers to questions i have at the time i also know that if it wasn't for the Holy Bible, the Prophet Joseph Smith would not have asked God which church to follow and not lead him to translate the Book of Mormon. Which lead to the begining of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the Earth and all of its principles like the Plan of Happiness.

How I live my faith

I was born and raised in the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. I know that because of that i was blessed to grow up in a great house, in a great area, and with a great family. as the oldest boy I have slowly realized what an example i was to my brothers. I know that i have an older brother by the name of Jesus Christ who was the perfect example for not only my family but also the entire world. I know that all he asks of us in return is to follow that example and bring that example to others that is why i am currently as a missionary. I have only begun to realize all the things my Father in Heaven has done for me in my life. this is why i'm a missionary to give my part to help in the father's plan to live with his children once again.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Bailey Smith
i believe in the church's answer which is: Our families provide a setting for much of the growth we experience in life. In our families we love, serve, teach, and learn from each other. We share our joys and our sorrows. Family ties may bring us difficult challenges, but they also give us strength and some of our greatest happiness. The family is central to God’s plan for His children. It is also the central unit of society and the means for bringing children into the world where they can be loved, provided for, and taught truth and righteousness (see “The Family: A Proclamation to the World”). While we cannot choose the conditions of our birth, we can choose each day to make our families stronger and happier. It is possible for individuals to return to the presence Show more Show less
