Hi I'm Erik McElroy

I grew up in Kentucky. I am an avid lover of music. I'ma Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid lover of music. I myself play the violin and a little cello (though I wish I could also play piano and guitar). Almost equal to my love of music is my love of reading and writing. I have not gone to college yet, but I will after my mission. I am the second oldest of eight children, so I never have a boring life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but that does not mean I have not had trouble finding my faith. As one should ask whether or not this is the true Church, I did ask. I received the answer that this is the true church, and I cannot see me going to any other church. Though I may not be the picture-perfect Mormon child, nor the best person in the world, I try my hardest and acknowledge that Christ is my Savior and without Him my life would have no direction. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the whole world, for every man, woman, and child. I cannot see my life without His loving guidance and without His care.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith by trying to inject myself into all the knowledge I could find. I wanted to know every scripture and have the answer for every question. I have served in various leadership positions, and so I have had the opportunity to lead some of my fellow youth in the Church.
