Hi I'm Cameron

I love sports. I love my family. And I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attend Brigham Young University and I love it. I especially love going to all the games because I love sports. I also like to read, watch movies, and do things with friends and family. I've moved many times in my life, 12 to be exact. But moving around so many times has allowed me to be flexible and able to adapt to new environments and surroundings rather quickly. I have also learned to make friends quickly which is good when you move around. I pay for all of my own things: my car, clothes, activities, my schooling, etc. But I'm very grateful my parents gave me the opportunity to pay for my own things because it taught me to be responsible and has taught me many important lessons.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So I have been a member my entire life. But through prayer and much study, I have found out for myself that this church is true and that Christ is at the head of it. I know that it was restored to the earth by a true prophet, Joseph Smith, and I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that my Redeemer lives and that he loves me. I know that we have a true and living prophet on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson. I know that families can be together forever and I am so thankful for this. And that is why I am Mormon. It just makes sense.

How I live my faith

Throughout middle school and high school I was in many leadership positions in the youth groups in our church. Also, every morning before school during my 4 years of high school, I attended early-morning seminary. Seminary is basically a Bible study class. And we would meet every morning at 6am. It was hard to wake up so early every day but it was definitely worth it. I also try to be the best person I can be every day and keep Christ at the center and focus of my life. I also love to serve and help people out. I have participated in and organized many service projects to help people in the community out. Serving is a great way to feel good about yourself and to feel the love of Christ and others in my life.
