Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon? I think the only way to know this is to find out for yourself. It took me a years growing up to finally sit down and pray to find out if this is where I should be doing. My parents example and others examples around them in the church help me know it better. Reading the scriptures like the Book of Mormon was a big eye opener. I testify that being in the church has made me a better person in life and always wondered what it would be like if I was a convert to the church. The church teaches us to love one another and to always serve others. And to always remember Christ atonement. Remembering that we can be forgiven of our sins. We will also have trials in life but it's not to bring us down but to learn from them. I have stories of how I can overcome things that I can share with others. And that prayer is important role in life. God loves us and wants to hear from us. We can get help and direction in life. He would never abandon us. We should be aware of things around us. Knowing things from right and wrong. Satan is also real. He wants to bring us down...always. He doesn't want us to enjoy life. He wants to tempt us and bring us down. Doing this we make mistakes in life but remembering the atonement of Jesus Christ he made it possible for all of us to live back with him. And we can by following him. Praying through the spirit can give us that peaceful feeling and by the fruits of the tree we can see and know that fullness of the gospel is on the earth today. I testify of that with all my heart. And I'm grateful of the gospel and it's teaching. I made myself a better person! Love you all!! :)

How I live my faith

Well I grew up in the church through my parents. However my parents are converts to the church. My dad was baptized in 20's as my mom was I think 18 years old. I have 1 brother and 2 sisters. We are the only family that are members of the church and that are active too. So growing up in the church I learning the standards of the church and simply followed it. I'm currently a student at BYU-Idaho and in a area surrounded by other members of the same faith which makes things more peaceful for me. I however didn't grow up at all around the mormon bubble area. I been outside the bubble in the real world and where more possible temptation is like. I really enjoy everyone and respect them. I don't judge others in their mistakes. I enjoy making friends with anyone. I'm a peaceful person and love being around others.I also served a mission at age 19. I went to Louisville Kentucky Mission area back in 2001-2003.
