Hi I'm Melissa

I'm from Arizona. Im a lover of fine...and not so fine foods. I go to Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest child in my family and love spending time with them all. I am currently studying Human Development at Brigham Young University with the intention of becoming a Child Life Specialist. I love to take pictures of everything. I spend most of my time in the kitchen; may it be cooking or eating. My favorite activity of all, is making other people laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have studied and gained a testimony of this faith. I know that this church is the only true church on the Earth today. I know that as I live up to my full potential and choose the right each and every day, I will have the opportunity to return to my Heavenly Father's presence. I have a testimony of the atonement of Jesus Christ. I know, that we can be forgiven of our misdeeds, through true and sincere repentance because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ laying down his life for each and every one of us. I know that we are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father who loves each of us individually. He knows us all by name and listens to our every plea. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy in so many ways. Having a testimony of this faith brings me happiness because I know there will always be someone who loves me, cares for me, and will listen to my prayers. It teaches me that I can live with my family for all eternity and provides me with a plan of happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing my dedication to the Lord. I attend church weekly on Sundays and serve others in my full capacity throughout the week. I take classes to further my learning about my faith, so that I can live it in the best way possible. I find it very important in living my faith that I choose each day to be living what I've been taught in every aspect of my life.
