Hi I'm Niki

I'm a wife and a mom. My family is the most important thing to me, and I know I can be with them forever. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother, a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Family is extremely important to me. I am interested in genealogy, interpersonal communication and relationships. I love to sing and I love books and learning. My family and I enjoy spending time together traveling and vacationing, and just hanging out around home. I love earthing/grounding and spending time outdoors. And I love sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know in my heart that this is where I should be. The Spirit of God speaks to my heart and soul of the truthfulness of this Gospel. I know that when I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ I am happy and at peace. And the Holy Spirit has born witness to me that this Church is the Savior's Church, that He is leading it through His chosen servants. He appeared with God the Father to a boy in New York in 1820, and through that boy He restored His original Church and the fullness of His Gospel. He helped that boy to translate into English an ancient record of a people in ancient America, known as the Book of Mormon. That book is evidence of the truthfulness of these events - if that book is true, then this Church is true. I know that book is true. While I truly believe that every single Church is good, this Church is the only one that has that "fullness" I spoke of, because it is Christ's - the exact same one He established while He lived on the earth. I believe this with all of my heart, because I prayed and asked God if it was true. He told me in my heart and in my mind that it is true. Because it's true and because Jesus is leading it, I know that if I follow where He leads His Church I can return home to His presence and live with my family for eternity. I want that more than anything. And that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I teach a class for women in my congregation on Sundays. I also visit a few women outside of Church (in their homes) every month, to be a friend, to make sure their needs are met, and to share my testimony. I teach my daughter about Jesus and His gospel through music, pictures, and by showing her how to pray. I like to smile at strangers I come in contact with, regardless of their appearance or demeanor, and I try to treat everyone I meet with kindness.
