Hi I'm Kelsi

I crave anything exotic, the ocean, avocados, and Jack Johnson. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student and I finished my mission in Ecuador over a year ago. I am very active and I love to hike, longboard, and do just about whatever sport is available. I enjoy trying new things when it comes to both food and adventurous activities. I like to take risks. I love spending quality time with friends and family, and I secretly envy those who live in the North Shore of Hawaii.

Why I am a Mormon

By going to church every Sunday as a youth, I was able to look at the prime examples of my church leaders, and I started to have a desire to be just like them and have the light that they had. I knew the only way that I can be an influence like them is if I really take part of this church so I can learn and grow and partake of the many blessings offered from this Gospel. After following my desires and using my faith, I have really been able to understand how much Christ has been apart of my life. He has been there by my side through every step of my life, and that has given me the surety of how true this Gospel is. Without it, I know I would be lost.

How I live my faith

I strive every day to be a disciple of Christ and be the best example I can be to everyone. My ultimate goal is to truly love everyone and develop true charity.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Kelsi
Because Jesus Christ organized His church when He was here on this Earth, we have it organized the same way; with living prophets, who receive revelation, lead, and direct. Without this authoritative figure, we would be like scattered mice not knowing where the cheese is. I know he, (Thomas S. Monson) is a true living prophet of God who God speaks through, because after listening to him speak to us, the spirit has confirmed the reality of this. Show more Show less

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Kelsi
RESPECT. Do you respect others? Do you respect yourself? That is the reason for modesty and chastity; remembering that we are precious children of God that we need to ALWAYS respect and keep sacred. That is what parents can teach their children. If we respect ourselves and others, and LOVE ourselves and others. Show more Show less
