Hi I'm Luella

I grew up in Utah, and Idaho. I am happily married to my best friend and have 4 boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of two teenagers, one pree-teen, and one baby, all boys. I was married to my best friend almost 20 years ago, and we are still very much in love. Our family enjoys the out doors of Idaho in the warm months. We like to ride motorcycles and four wheelers and to Archery hunt Turkey, deer and Elk. I also archery hunt. My favorite hunting involves climbing into a tall tree stand and observing nature. I am going to college to be a special education teacher and will graduate next year. I love to spend most of my time with my family. They are such a joy in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon's) because I know, through answered prayer, that it is the restored Church of Jesus Christ (The same that was organized by the Savior before he left the earth). I know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father (God) came to earth to answer a 14 year old boy’s prayer about which church he should join. I know that we have all the keys of the priesthood restored in this church and the blessings which come from the priesthood like Baptism, Eternal Marriage, and Temple work. I am thankful for the blessing of the Holy Ghost which I received through baptism, so that I may feel Heavenly Fathers plan for me and that I might receive personal inspiration daily. I know that we receive inspiration from our Father in Heaven from modern day Prophets and Apostles.

How I live my faith

I work with the young women in our ward I oversee all of the activities and teaching of the girls ages 12-18 and pray for them daily. This has been such a blessing in my life! I love the young women and they teach me so much every day. I also am a visiting teacher. I get to go with my companion and visit four ladies in our ward once a month. It is so neat to get to know others and serve them. I love this ward and how much they look out for one-another. It is wonderful to share Heavenly Father's love through service.
