Hi I'm Danny Muñoz

I was born and raised in Texas and moved to Utha. I'm a amateur artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Danny, the third oldest out of six kids. I'm currently living in Utah and finished my first year in college. I really enjoy photorealism drawing and drawing, in general. I like to play football and weightlifting. I am about to go serve a mission in the beginning of June and I'm pretty excited (and nervous)!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church and was baptized when I was 8. However, for many years I wasn't really sure the church I was in was true. The topics and doctrines that I was taught felt true but I never really considered the point of being part of the Church. However, when my ward Boy Scout troop was called to help clean-up after Hurricane Ike in 2008 at the city of Galveston it was an eye-opener. I then understood why I stayed in the Church. We believe that we both need faith and works to be able to return to Christ. And that whole day of service really helped me understand that the Gospel of Christ is not only the teachings of faith but also the doings of His work. Like Him, we are able to help bless the lives to the ones we serve. The service we rendered and the gratitude in the eyes of those we served blessed me so much that I had to stay. There is no real way to serve purely unless it is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is through Him that I can feel loved and be able to give my love to those around me. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church on the face of the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who translate the Book of Mormon. I know that Jesus died and was resurrected to atone for the sins of all mankind. I know that God lives and because of it, I will be saved at the last day. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

How I participate in my community is by helping my local boy scout troops by attending their service projects. I enjoy talking to my neighbors and be kind all around. I was a Sunday School teacher in my school ward and I really enjoyed teaching the principles of the Gospel.
