Hi I'm Lauren

I love the fine arts, love physical activities, I'm a college student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in the same house in my whole life. I'm a bit of a tom boy so I get into sports (only playing though, not as much watching) but I also like to look pretty. My whole family sings and I have been in a choir since I was of age, in 3rd grade. I sing, play piano and viola, I love to draw an assortment of things, and have been in a number of productions with lead roles. You could call me a bit of a musical theatre connoisseur but am a firm believer that classical music started it all. Gotta love my music! I go to school at Brigham Young University and love it, but man is it hard! Being a member of the BYU Singers has been a dream come true but I am still unsure of my major... Definitely enjoying the life of a starving college student!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because nothing else in the world has brought me so much happiness. Yes, there are "rules" to follow that may be difficult at times, living in the world we do, but that's what helps to me be happy. I know I'm doing what the Lord wants me to and I feel so good when I keep the commandments and do what I should. Striving to do what is right, is what keeps me going each day. Finding ways to serve, to help a friend, or be there for a family member. That is what real happiness means to me. Especially knowing that my Heavenly Father is there to help me each step of the way, to give me constant encouragement, pick me up when I feel down, open my eyes so I can see something in a new light, and that His love is eternal.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through every decision I make everyday. I live what I believe to be right and hope that others can know of my faith and dedication just by seeing me. I want my love for my Savior to constantly be apart of me and show in my countenance. Currently, I am serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and am loving every minute of it. I haven't been out long but have felt my faith in Christ and His work, lift me up in times of doubt or weakness. I am thankful for my knowledge of this gospel and that I get to share it with the people of Canada!
