Hi I'm McCall

I'm a small-town farm girl who loves her high heels. I'm a chocolate lover and a perpetual dancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in small town on a beef livestock farm, and I love my cows. As kids we were always outside, shooting guns and playing sardines in alfalfa fields. Our family still loves to work hard and play hard together, whether we're in the garden, on a run or at the lake. I love to learn, travel, and talk to people and I currently study at Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was born to a family of many Mormons, I have personally chosen to live this faith, because I know it is true! I asked many questions, and I continue to ask questions, but I always receive answers. This Church is an institution that brings the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all that will open their hearts and minds ask their own questions. As a member I am supported by countless other members, and in return, I too have the opportunity to serve them. I'm a Mormon, because this makes me happy. I'm a Mormon because I can't be who I am without my Savior or His atonement to lift me up. I'm a Mormon because I want others to be happy and to know Him, too!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by smiling brightly. Having a knowledge of God's plan has allowed for me to feel of His love. I want others to feel God's love through me! There was a dark and dreary time of my life where self pitty and depression made me miserable. I decided to kick my selfish streak to the curb. From then on it became an everyday objective to make the lives of all those I came in contact with a little bit happier and a little bit easier. I especially strive to love and strengthen my family. I feel God's confidence in me and the guidance of the Holy Ghost as I do so. We are so lucky to have access to the Holy scriptures and the words of modern prophets. I pray and search these words diligently each day, so that I might better understand the will of our Father. I love the Book of Mormon and am enlightened and edified every time I study that book. Most importantly, I believe in the power of "go and do". Knowledge means little without action. As I make it a priority to serve and live the will of God I know that I am changed, and little by little, I become more like our Savior Jesus Christ.
