Hi I'm Cassie

I grew up in Mapleton, UT. I am a singer/songwriter. I will soon be serving a mission in Warsaw, Poland. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, studying to become a Vocologist. I enjoy outdoor activities, such as BBQs, bonfires, camping, fishing, and hiking. I love playing flag football, softball, volleyball, and soccer. I spend most of my time singing and songwriting, and hope to become a recording artist after returning from my mission to Warsaw, Poland. I am obsessed with my nieces and nephew. I enjoy traveling. My favorite food is watermelon. I love hanging out with my family and good friends, and I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. My parents and my grandparents, along with the majority of my extended family, have also been raised as members. I was baptized when I was eight years old, and look back on that day as one of the most important in my life. I can't recall a particular point of personal conversion throughout the years, but I have never doubted the truth of the Gospel. I've felt the influence of the Spirit on countless occasions, bearing witness to me that the doctrines and principles contained in the Gospel are divinely inspired. I know that the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the church that my Heavenly Father would have me join and defend; it is the only church on the earth that teaches the true gospel in its entirety. I believe that it was restored to this earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith in the 1800s. I believe in our living prophet, President Thomas S. Monson; I believe that his counsel is the counsel that God would have us follow. I believe in the Book of Mormon, and have come to know my Savior more fully through studying it. I'm grateful for the teachings of the prophets of old contained in the scriptures. I know that families are eternal. I know that each of us can live with our Heavenly Family again in the next life because of the atoning sacrifice of our Brother, Jesus Christ. I know that my Savior died for me, and that he now lives, knows me, and loves me. I share this testimony in his name, even Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I have decided to serve a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; this is how I will be living my faith for the next eighteen months. On my mission, I will have the opportunity to represent my Savior Jesus Christ and help others to come to know him as I do. I know that it will be a very challenging experience, but I'm not afraid. I am excited to share the Gospel--the very thing that brings me the most joy in this life. I'm excited to share my knowledge of eternal life and eternal families. I am looking forward to sharing my testimony by word and by example and by faith. I am serving a mission because I love my Heavenly Father, and I want to show him my gratitude for the blessings that He's given me. I am serving a mission because I know that it is what He wants me to do.
