Hi I'm Costy

I'm from Italy and I'm serving the Lord in the England Leeds Mission. I love smiling, reading and writing. I'm a mormon!

About Me

I love Harry Potter and I'm vegetarian.. that's something everyone should know about me! I have a lot of imagination...I wish I could turn everything in reality. I love to read...I wish I could write. I love to eat...I wish I could cook. I'm really good in daydreaming, but in the end I always conclude the world around me is so beautiful that there is no need to dream about it: we just have to live it, and it's impossible not to love it!! In this time I'm enjoying my days serving the Lord in the England Leeds Mission and I will not lie: it's the most difficul experience I have ever faced in my life, but I'm learning so many things that I know I couldn't learn differently. I miss my family, my friends and my dog but I'm experiencing the Gospel as I've never done before and it's so great!! I feel I'm having the fulness of life, as it is written in the Scriptures. I'm blessed in having the Gospel in my life, and even more with the opportunity to share it with others people!

Why I am a Mormon

Because being a member of the Church makes me happy! Before, when I looked into the mirror I felt exactly like Mulan when she asked herself: "Who is that girl I see staring straight back at me, why is my reflection someone I don't know.. When will my reflection show who I am inside?" In my teen years, when I look at the mirror, I was only able to see my shortcomings: I never was enough. Too shy, too pasty, too tall, too quiet... Or too much, or too few! Now, when I look at myself at the mirror, I see a daughter of God. I still have my imperfections, I still fall short, I'm still not good in sewing and in drawing..but I know I can. I can improve myself each day and I can be better. All that I have to do is giving the best of myself, and then my Heavenly Father will add the missing part. Knowing that He lives and He loves everything about me, makes the difference in my life every single day

How I live my faith

I cannot imagine my life without my faith: Costy is Costy because she is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! The two things just go together! The knowledge of my purpose in life effect evry single action I do, from the morning to the night. My faith makes me smile, makes me talk to people even if sometimes I just would love to stay "close in my bubble", my faith makes me happy! I love keep myself busy, I need 30 hours days, but I always strive to find a place to serve in my community and in the Church, and I',m the person that is blessed the most from that! Every day I enjoy reading the scriptures in the morning, before everything else, and I found out that our day is like a container: if we put first the biggest things, then we'll be able to find a space for all the rest. I always gave my time and my talents to serve at Church, and I've been so blessed to be able to finish my studies at uni, handle at the same time 3 different works, save money for my mission, and still enjoy time with my family. Being a mormon makes me better!
