Hi I'm Connor Cook

I grew up in Utah. I am preparing to serve as a missionary in the Peru Piura Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently preparing to serve as a missionary in the Peru Piura Mission. I attended Brigham Young University and will continue my education there after my mission. I plan to work hard in my school work so that I will be able to attend medical school as well. I played lacrosse in high school and love all sports. I love to ski in the winter and boat in the summer.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. I grew up in a very active family with many great examples showing me the way. This didn't mean that everything came easy for me. I had my struggles just as everyone else has theirs; however, I am extremely grateful for loving parents to show me the way. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. Joseph Smith is the prophet of the restoration. Everything that he did and said is true. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who watches over us and anxiously awaits our return home. We have a living prophet in Thomas S. Monson today on this earth and he is the Lord's spokesman and head of the Church. I know all of this to be true. If I didn't know, I wouldn't be devoting two years of my life in service to the Lord.

How I live my faith

I have been a hometeacher for years. For as long as I can remember, I have always gone hometeaching with my dad. This experience has helped me become familiar with many families in my ward and make new friends. It has taught me how to prepare and teach a lesson. I have grown spiritually from fulfilling this responsibility. I am also preparing to become a full-time missionary for two years. I will be serving the Lord for these two years and I have been assigned to labor in the Peru Piura Mission.
