Hi I'm Ixchel Fairbanks

I am a professional makeup artist, I am a wife and a mother. I am a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mexico City and moved to the states when I was 15. I graduated highschool and attended BYU and got a bachelors degree in Child Development. I am an artist and I am passionate about makeup artistry. I have worked for MAC for about 6 years and own my makeup artistry business. I have a wonderful husband that is in medical school and works so hard. Although I feel lonely at times, I have my son who keeps me company. These two are everything to me. I am so grateful for the knowledge that families can in fact be together forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that its is the only way to true happiness. Although my parents and I have been mormon all of our lives, I feel a special spirit in our home when we live the principles of this gospel. I have felt what its like to stray away and I know that I don't ever want to feel that way again. I am a mormon because I am a better person when I do the simple things like studying the scriptures and going to church every sunday and sharing my religion with others. I am so very happy to know that other people can be part of my church and find the happiness I have found. I feel so blessed to know these truths and I know I was elected to come to this earth to spread cheer and happiness by sharing this gospel.

How I live my faith

I love that as a mormon, I get to LIVE what i KNOW. Its not just a religion, its a lifestyle and a wonderful one to say the least. I am grateful for all the different organizations in the church. They provide me with opportunities to serve and to better myself as a Latter day Saint. I know that my calling in the church comes from my Heavenly Father and that he knows what my weeaknesses and strenghts are. He is my friend and my counselor. I have a personal relationship with my Heavely Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I love this church and its gospel. I live it and I love it.
