Hi I'm Dakota
I love my life. I love what I stand for. I am Mormon.
About Me
I am ninteen years old and I am currently serving a mission in the Guatemala Retalhueleu Mission. I have 2 beautiful sisters and amazing parents! My family is super important to me and I feel so grateful for the gospel because I know tha we can be together forever. I also have an amazing boyfriend who is currently serving in the Mexico City South Mission. He is an amazing missionary and such a great example to me! His testimony of Jesus Christ strengthens mine everyday. I am very proud of Him and the work that he is doing! The gosple is a huge part of my life. My purpose as a missionary is to invite others to come unto Christ. I have never felt so much joy in my life as I have been trying to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He LIVES. That he is the Savior of all mankind. Being a missionary is such a blessing because I have the opportunity to help others receive the pure joy, love and peace that I have because of the chruch.
Why I am a Mormon
I am mormon because I know it is true. I have grown up in this gospel my whole life and ever since I was a little girl i've known it is true. There is a strong feeling I receive constantly that confirms to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. It is a blessing in my life and I know it is for anyone who knows the truth. I know that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God. I've read it, i've prayed, and I have received an answer. If you haven't read it, I challenge you do start now. It will testify to you that Christ lives, that Joseph Smith restored the gospel and that The Church of Jesus Christ is true. I know that our Savior Jesus Christ lives, and He will come again. He is the Savior of our world. He is our redeemer and our greatest example. If you believe in Christ, then listen to his words and once you do, you will have the same confirmation that I have received.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by my actions. I attend church every Sunday and I participate in Mission prep classes which help me to further my education in the gospel. I read and study the Book of Mormon and pray all the time. I taught primary for some time and now I'm going to serve the Lord in Guatemala.
