Hi I'm Ben

I grew up in New York. I work with kids and help them play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy all types of sports. In high school I played lacrosse and football. I received offers to play Division III football but decided to go to a bigger school that would give me more academic options. I still try to connect with athletics in any way possible. I attended every football game at my college and camped out for every basketball game. Needless to say, I love sports. I have no clue what I am going to study yet so I am just getting all of my generals done. I just try to live life to the fullest. Life is for the enjoying, not the enduring. I look for any and all possible ways to have fun. Whether it is going to a party with my friends or going for a walk in nature by myself, I just want to enjoy myself. I try to keep my life as low stressed as possible by simply making sure that whatever I do I love. I just love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I know with every fiber of my being that this is the true Gospel of our Heavenly Father. I know the Book of Mormon to be the true word of God and that it was translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith. I love my older brother Jesus Christ and am so grateful everyday for his infinite and intimate atonement. The atonement allows me to be able to have a clean slate. I know that even though I might mess up there is an opportunity for me to repent and eventually live with my Heavenly Father again. I love the though that my family is eternal and that I can live with then forever. The peace this gospel gives me is just outstanding as I know who I am, what I am becoming, and where I will end up. This is a gospel of peace.

How I live my faith

I make a point to attend church services every Sunday. Even when I was off at school I did not miss a Sunday. I get my hometeaching done every month and try to show a real interest in the well-being of my families. I also try to live my faith by simply following the standards that are given. I do the best I can. The final way in which I live my faith is by being an example for those that are not of my faith. I try to let my actions show how a Latter-Day Saint should act. I am always available for questions about my faith and I am excited every time they ask me something.
