Hi I'm Quinn

I'm a Vegas native. A missionary for our Lord, serving the people of Tampico, Mexico.

About Me

I'm a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Before leaving for my mission, I loved serving as my school's Student Body President, and when not at school, I'm always busy. Besides being a high school student, I worked, I volunteered, I play the violin, I sing. I'm on a mission because I love my God and I want others to feel the joy I have when I feel the Holy Ghost. Not only am I putting off school, I'm putting off scholarships, jobs, sports and the next two years of my life! It's has been worth it all though! I'm honored to be part of God's army spreading the gospel in the Spanish language! Tampico, Mexico here I come

Why I am a Mormon

Being born in the gospel, I was kind of forced to attend church. It wasn't until my teenage years that I knew without a doubt that this church is true. I have had many opportunities to not go to church, seminary, a mission, and other activities, but without each I feel like I'd be lost. This gospel brings me true happiness that nothing else in the world could. As I read the scriptures, pray, and attend the temple, I feel closer to my Lord and feel joy and peace knowing that I am following His will. I can't imagine going through the challenges in my life without having the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost and knowing the plan good has for me. I look at each day with an eternal perspective all because of my membership.

How I live my faith

Being a missionary I see myself living a life close to how the Savior was as he ministered on the earth. Everyday I spread the gospel for about a 16 hour day. It seems like a lot but I live my faith by relying solely on my Father in Heaven. He is the reason I make it through everyday. Not only does he give me strength but he constantly qualifies me for the work and for my shortcomings, like speaking Spanish. I live my faith through prayer and acting on my faith by studying the life of Christ and his prophets. What a great blessing it is to give all I have to build up God's kingdom. I leave my family for 2 years, so other families can be together for eternity.
