Hi I'm Stacie Norton

Grew up in Lindon, Utah. I coach a High School Varsity girls Lacrosse team. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the middle child in a family of 5 kids. My family is stellar. Not only do I have great siblings, but I have been blessed with two wonderful sisters in law. My younger sister is my best friend. I love her to pieces. I love to travel. Out of all the places I've been, the place I always want to be is Austria. Especially Vienna. I grew up on Classical music, and it has a special place in my heart. I've been playing the Flute for 8 years. I love it. I hope someday to be an American History teacher. I love my country, and find a great pride in History and sacrifice. I am currently counting down the days until I enter the MTC to serve a mission in Berlin, Germany. "Excited" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. I love the Gospel with every fiber of my being. I know it is Jesus Christ's true Gospel and it has been restored on the earth. This knowledge is my greatest treasure.

Why I am a Mormon

Obviously being born into a Mormon family plays a factor in "Why" I am a Mormon, but it goes a lot deeper. There have been many times in my life where I have turned my back on the Gospel with pride in my heart. I didn't think it played a big role in my life and my happiness. It was at those times where I realized how miserable I was. The places that I thought would bring me the most joy or happiness only brought temporary pleasure. I didn't want that. I wanted lasting joy and peace. I've learned now that it can only be achieved when you are living your life the way Heavenly Father wants you to; in the Gospel, with Christ by yourside.

How I live my faith

Living the lifestyle of a Mormon is all that I have ever known. I've never had to experience life without knowing what I know. Like everyone else, I've had experiences with sins and sorrows, and trying to find happiness. I've learned that the only true source of joy comes from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and trying to be like Him, because you have felt His love and embraced his eternal sacrifice whole heartedly. I hope to be fully commited to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It's what I want more than anything. Being a lacrosse coach, has been such a blessing and such a trial. It has taught me how to be more Christ like in nearly every way. Everyday is a test and trial of your commitment. It's hard, but the reward is oh so sweet.
