Hi I'm Keegan

I was born in Idaho and raised in Las Vegas. I am a wrestler and I love to wakeboard. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently serving a 2 year mission in the South Dakota, Rapid City Mission. I want to major in Biology and I have a plan to get into the medical field and become a doctor. I want to do this because I love helping people and serving others and by becoming a doctor I can do that. I also want to save lives and see miracles everyday. I was a wrestler all throughout high school and it is my favorite sport. I also played football, soccer, and baseball. I love wake boarding and playing frisbee. I enjoy doing anything outdoors and in the sun. I am an eagle scout. I love my family and my friends and I would do anything for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that this Church is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and have sincerely prayed and asked God to know if it was true or not. I received an answer through the Holy Ghost that it was true. I am a mormon because I have faith in Jesus Christ and I know that he lived and died for each and every one of us. I know that I can be forgiven through the atonement because of his sacrifice. I am a mormon because I know that God lives. This gospel is centered around Jesus Christ and the atonement and that we can all be saved through it. I am a mormon because this gospel and its teachings are for me. This gospel is for everyone, wealthy or not. I know that the atonement and the peace that it brings was made for everyone and can make everyone happy. I am a mormon because through this gospel I can be sealed to my family for time and all eternity. That is extremely important to me because I want to be with them forever. I am a mormon because I know that it is only through Jesus Christ and his atonement that I can be saved and return to live with God again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every sunday. I have served as a leader for the youth in my age groups. I do home teaching for other members in the ward about once or twice a month. I am usually helping serve other members of the ward by doing yard-work or helping them move in or out of houses. I provide help to those in need. I also perform these acts of service to many of my neighbors and people that live in my area. I teach a class at church on sundays about basic gospel principles. This class is for many of the new members in our ward and people who will be serving missions. It helps them to further begin to understand many of the principles of the gospel. I also live my faith by being an example to those around me. I obey the word of wisdom and do not partake of harmful substances. I read my scriptures and pray morning and night. I also serve my family and support them through their trials and experiences.
